Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 8, 2026
Who we are
Gigsemble is operated by Faded Eden LLC, a Virginia limited liability company, doing business as Gigsemble ("Gigsemble," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy explains what information Gigsemble collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
- Account information. Your email address and password when you create an account. Our sign-in provider handles passwords, and we never see them in readable form.
- Profile and band information. Your display name, your instrument or role, the names of bands you create or join, and your role in each band (owner, admin, or member).
- Invitations. When a band owner or admin adds a bandmate, they enter that person's name, their instrument, and (optionally) an email address. We use that email address to send the invitation.
- Band content. Everything you and your bandmates add to a band. This includes availability (with optional times), events and gig details (venue, address, load-in, soundcheck and set times, plus a contact name and phone number), setlists, shared notes, gig money records (fees, expenses, and splits), and the files you upload.
- Billing information. If you subscribe for a band, you enter your payment details directly with Stripe. We keep a reference to your Stripe customer and subscription, along with your subscription status and your trial and billing dates. We never receive or store your full payment card number.
Information created when you use Gigsemble
- Sign-in information. Your web browser stores information on your device that keeps you signed in.
- Activity in your band. Gigsemble records who created or changed certain items (for example, notes and gig money entries). When things change, it creates in-app notifications for your bandmates.
- Technical and usage information. Our hosting provider automatically records basic technical details, such as IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring site, and request times. These are used to run, measure, and secure the service. If a page fails to load properly, error details may also be recorded so we can fix problems.
How we use information
We use information to:
- create and run your account and your bands;
- show your band's content to your bandmates;
- manage free trials, subscriptions, and billing;
- send account emails (such as email confirmation and password reset) and band invitation emails;
- show in-app notifications;
- keep Gigsemble secure, prevent misuse, and fix problems;
- respond to your messages and requests.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who can see your information
- Your bandmates. Every active member of a band can see all of that band's content: member names and instruments, availability, events and gig details, setlists, notes, files, and gig money records (including fees, expenses, and splits). Only the band owner can change gig money records, and notifications about gig money changes go only to the owner and admins.
- People you invite. Anyone who opens an invitation link sees only four things: the band name, the invited person's name and instrument, and the invitation's status. Each invitation link works once and expires after 14 days.
- Service providers. The providers listed below help us run Gigsemble and handle information on our behalf.
- Legal reasons. We may share information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users, Faded Eden LLC, or others.
- Business changes. If Faded Eden LLC or Gigsemble is part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that deal.
Service providers
- Lovable: the platform used to build and host Gigsemble. It runs our sign-in, database, and file storage (through its provider, Supabase), sends our emails, records basic site visit statistics, and may receive error reports.
- Supabase: account sign-in, database storage, and file storage, provided through Lovable.
- Cloudflare: the network our hosting provider uses to deliver Gigsemble.
- Stripe: processes subscription payments and manages billing. You enter payment card details directly with Stripe, and Gigsemble does not store them.
- Google Fonts: provides the typefaces on our website. When you visit Gigsemble, your browser requests these fonts from Google, which receives your IP address and browser information.
Cookies, browser storage, and analytics
Gigsemble uses your browser's storage to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not add third-party analytics or tracking tools. Our hosting provider collects basic visit statistics as described above. When you use Stripe's checkout or billing pages, Stripe may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.
How long we keep information
We keep your account information while your account exists. We keep band content while the band exists, including when the band is read-only. If you are removed from a band or stop using Gigsemble, content you added to that band (such as availability, notes, files, and gig money entries) stays with the band. Your name may also remain on records you created or changed, such as notes and gig money history, so the band's records stay accurate. Gigsemble does not currently offer a delete button for accounts or bands. To ask us to delete your account or other personal information, email support@gigsemble.com. We may keep some information when we need it to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations, resolve disputes, or prevent misuse. Stripe keeps billing records under its own policies.
Your choices
- You can view and update much of your band content directly in Gigsemble.
- You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing us. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request.
- Depending on where you live, local law may give you additional rights. Contact us, and we will respond as that law requires.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. For example, only a band's members can read that band's content, files are kept in private storage, and file links expire shortly after they are created. No way of storing or sending information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Gigsemble is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International use
People may use Gigsemble from many places. Our service providers may process your information in countries other than the one where you live.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we will take reasonable steps to let you know.
